Beautiful + Simple Herb Holiday Wreath

I’ve been so excited to decorate this year for the holidays, but you know what?? I can’t decide on an aesthetic!! I’m struggling to take a direction on whether I do a modern, minimal look, classic Christmas or soft and elegant. I was itching to do at least something, so I made these super simple wreaths. They are part natural and part artificial. I used natural rosemary as the main greenery, so they smell amazing and faux berries and flowers. Here’s what you need: Macrame/Hoop Rings: I grabbed mine at Walmart, which were the wooden for the more bohemian/natural look, and Amazon has the pretty metal ones.  Get the wooden ones on Amazon too. If you want to use the traditional wreath wires, the dollar store has them! Floral Tape: I actually grabbed mine at the dollar store, and it was not that sticky, so this one is probably way…

Better Than Bed Pumpkin Pie French Toast

I can eat pumpkin pie all year really. I love it. As a little girl, I couldn’t stand the taste of it. Isn’t it funny how things can so drastically change as you get older? This pumpkin pie french toast recipe is really an excuse to eat pumpkin pie for breakfast…but almost better! The trick is to start with cinnamon bread. I grabbed the soft bread with the cinnamon swirls that just happen to be on sale. Get a nice, soft brand that will soak up our pumpkin/egg mixture. It really makes a difference. Here’s the video on making these. The recipe and instructions are below. Let me know how delicious they are! INGREDIENTS: 1/4 cup pumpkin puree 3 eggs 1/4 cup milk of choice 1 TBS pumpkin pie spice 1tsp salt 6-8 slices cinnamon swirl bread INSTRUCTIONS:  Whisk together pumpkin, eggs, milk and pumpkin pie spice Dip your bread…

All opinions are mine alone. #SamsungTargetTech #CollectiveBias Capturing family photos is a lot of work, I’m not going to tell you it’s going to be easy. But, you can totally get a beautiful photo of your whole family, if you take time and patience to do it. It is the holiday season, and we all want to send out pretty cards right? This is the perfect tutorial for the holiday season! You’ll find a cute card I made for free after the tips on Canva. Super simple, and no photographer needed! I haven’t used a photographer in a few years now because I’ve been taking our photos, and the messy, candidness of the capture is actually something I like. Not everyone is looking, or someone is making a very silly face, but that’s real life for us. I…

All opinions are mine alone. #BornToShred #ShredTheDay #CollectiveBias 5 Fall Adventures You Can’t Miss This Year With Toddlers Fall is here in all its beautiful glory, and with that comes the cozy activities that brings us so much joy. Being from the Pacific Northwest, we have beautiful falls, and there are some fun adventures I look forward too every year. Having toddlers makes the adventures a bit more difficult at times. I remember trying to haul my toddler and a baby to a pumpkin patch, thinking it was going to be so fun, and it was just chaos. Strollers don’t go well in muddy patches. We start our adventures with a great breakfast, like the Post Shredded Wheat in flavors like Frosted Berry, S’mores and Cinnamon Roll. My kids are super picky, and sometimes it is so hard…
