9 Gifts under $100 For Bloggers to Hit Massive Growth and Money in 2018

As a mom, there’s not a whole lot I really want for Christmas. Sure, I could use a new tripod or laptop, but for some reason I don’t get as excited about those items as I do blogging gifts. Like, just thinking about some of the new Pinterest strategies I can learn from some of the experts gets me so happy! If you are a blogger like me, who loves to blog and loves to grow their blog as a business, then this list is just for you! Most of these resources you need to purchase, but they are all under $100, and I have some great free resources in there too!  This post contains affiliate links.  Pinterest Strategies: (MOPSAVE20 for a 20% for Black Friday through Cyber Monday!!) Yes, I know you’ve heard all about it, and I’m another blogger giving you an affiliate link to her book. I’ve been pushing…

Creating the Perfect Pinterest Strategy

Well, now that I’ve been blogging a year, I’ve learned so much about Pinterest. I had no idea I would need to become a Pinterest strategist in order to succeed at this whole blog thing. Literally, I dive deep into my Google Analytics, Tailwind analytics and Board Booster stats at times to really understand what the heck is going on. This post contains affiliate links. It took a couple months for my traffic dropping below 100k a month for me to push myself to learn more. I can’t tell you how sad I was when my traffic started dropping, but it taught me so so much, and how to get it to go back up. My traffic dropped mainly because of that darn Hurricane Irma (my manual pinning strategy went out the window with no wifi), traveling, solo parenting, moving and basically having a massive amount of life changes to…

The Three Best Blogging Tips You’ll Ever Read + Celebrating 1 Year Blogging

I’m shocked a year of blogging went by so fast. I remember being so excited when just 20 people came to my blog in one day! I thought, wow, people want to read what I am writing!! I now have over 60,000 people (hopefully 100k this month!!) coming to my blog. I had a few posts go viral, one republished on FamilyShare, as well as landing some fabulous opportunities to work with big brands like Coke, People Magazine and Walmart. I love to write, and I want to share my stories, lessons and tips on motherhood.  I can’t wait to see what this next year brings, as I have an over-ambitious goal-list in my mind of all milestones I want to achieve next year. There are many, many areas I need to improve on (typos and editing my own writing is like nails on the chalk board!), photography, better story-telling…

Making My First $1000 From Blogging

I’ve been blogging for almost a year now, but I haven’t gotten too much into income reports like some of the other bloggers you will find. I just didn’t want to report $20 here and there, and I was more interested in writing. That is my true passion. Writing about motherhood. My goal is to continue to write and develop my writing, but also have my blog provide an income. When the day came that I added up the income streams, and they were over $1,000 I couldn’t believe it! Skip to the bottom of the post for the breakdown of the income streams. this post contains affiliate links.  When I started this journey, I definitely didn’t start the right way to make money. If I did, I would’ve hit this mark a lot sooner. But, I learned and wrote about that to help you all as well. Most of…

Pageview Breakthrough: How I Went from 6k to over 17k in One Month

Cracking the code for page views is an obsession I failed to achieve. I couldn’t do it! I was stuck for months around 6k or less visits. I needed help. I finally made some investments for my blog, one being a Pinterest strategy book, and the other specifically a traffic book. Update: I am above 100k pageviews as of August 2017, and making over 3k a month. Scroll to the end to grab my free pdf on how to make money blogging, without teaching anyone to blog.  Making My First $1000 From Blogging I bought an eBook to help me with Pinterest. I literally was failing, and not understanding how to pin to group boards. This eBook transformed my game, and I got my first viral pin the month I bought that book. I wrote about my first viral pin in more detail, How I Got My First Viral Pin as well…

Let’s Start Your Blog and Make Money Now By Doing What I Should’ve Done

Okay, this is the post I wish I read when I first started blogging. When I first started, I was so excited to write, photograph and merge a passion into a business. Writing, marketing and all-things motherhood are basically ho I am at that core. My degree is in Communications, I lived and breathed entrepreneurship in college, and I still have a small web-design and online marketing company that I take select clients for. That being said, I did not set myself up correctly to create a passive income from blogging in the beginning. I’ve solved that problem finally, after 8 months of blogging, and you definitely don’t need to wait that long. This is the only post you need to read to create a blog that increases in traffic and income each month. And no, I didn’t invest in expensive courses to do this. I may do that soon, but…

The Alternative to Adsense For Bloggers: Finally Make Some Money!

So, I’ve mentioned a few times in my post, I am a new blogger. I am just shy of 6 months blogging very part time. As in, I have a 6 month old baby, two toddler boys, no steady nanny and we’ve moved across country…so let’s just say my blog gets the short-end of the stick when it comes to attention. **EDIT! I signed up without realizing that AdBuff requires an average of 2k pageviews per day. I was able to get the accunt going, insert ads and build some income, then to have them close my account. As of last month, I exceed their requirements, so I am resigning up!  You might also like: My Massive Traffic Boost: 6k to 40k Page views in Two Months Pageview Breakthrough: How I Went from 6k to over 17k in One Month How I Turned $17.99 Into Over $300 With One Blog…

How I Went From 0-60 Email Subscribers In Two Days

I’ve always been daunted by the idea of building an email list. What will I email them? What do I have to offer that people are interested in? What valuable information can I offer as a freebie incentive? If you want to skip straight to the questions, sign up here! Get The Questions As a new blogger, the task of coming up with an offer that will help other bloggers is hard because we aren’t yet confident in our abilities. Let’s Start Your Blog and Make Money Now By Doing What I Should’ve Done Well, it took me quite some time to craft something. I ran multiple ideas over in my head, and basically, I didn’t put pressure on myself to build an email list right away. With pressure, I was afraid my offer wouldn’t be genuine or just a cheesy attempt to get sign ups. I focused on creating content I loved first.…
