I wrote a post a couple weeks ago about the two investments I made in my blog, which substantially increased my traffic. I am writing again about my traffic because I want you all to understand how completely honest and sincere I am, that these two resources have dramatically increased my page views.

I can’t tell you all how excited I am that I blew April out of the water, and hit a milestone of 40k pageviews for May! When I was reading other page view reports from bloggers detailing 2-3k hits a day, I thought it would be years until I would get there. It took one month!! Also note that in that month I made just over $300 with my blog. With a traffic increase I was able to land a long-term relationship with two companies for sponsored posts and bring in just over $500. Traffic goes up and so does income.

My viral pin is continuing to run wild. I talk about how I got my first viral pin in the post, How I Got My First Viral Pin. In that post, I detail which pin went viral, and it is still going strong months later with even more views and clicks.
How did I hit such a massive increase? I continued working the strategies outlined in the Pinterest Strategies eBook I bought a couple months ago. Pinterest is my number one source of traffic, and I credit it all to this book. I can not express enough to you how important making investments in your blog is. I know it seems daunting when you aren’t making any money, and it is scary to purchase another eBook, but this one is gold. I’ve written about it time and time again.
Carly notified me that she’ll be relaunching soon, which I assume the price will be increasing, so I would recommend buying it now at the $32 price point, so you can get started pulling in more traffic. If you like it, and it works, you can ask her about becoming an affiliate and the relaunch she’s working on. I highly, highly encourage you to network with successful bloggers and buy their knowledge. They are successful for a reason.
I also have been working through Lena’s new, revised Traffic Transformation book. I bought it at the lower price a couple months ago. I actually really trust Carly, creator of the Pinterest Strategies book, and she suggested it in her blog, so I followed her advise. I am so happy I did.
Now, the Traffic Transformation book is $79, but again, it has helped me tremendously. I am seeing more traffic coming from organic search and Facebook because of her detailed advice on SEO and Facebook sharing in the book. It is unique information I haven’t seen out there before.
There are a couple smaller-priced items that Lena has out, which I haven’t gotten a chance to go over yet, but because I’ve had such a success with her Transformation book, I imagine these are great too. I am an affiliate for her now, so I will get a chance to review these and let you know what I think at some point this month.
