Yes summer is here, and the pressure for mama to lose the baby weight is a little more intense. I have a yummy, pink and tropical protein shake that will keep your milk flowin, while helping your body to burn fat and continue letting go of the baby weight.
The reason this is so wonderful for your milk supply is because I use this protein powder. I talk about it way too much, but it is a staple for me and keeping my supply up while working out. It offers me the protein I need, PLUS greens and fruits and all kinds of wonderful things including digestive enzymes. It is clean and safe for mamas and babies, and tastes wonderful! 1 cup frozen pineapple
5 BIG frozen strawberries or 5 fresh (because it is summer, I like frozen) or 6-7 small ones
2 Tbsp of oatmeal
1 tsp of flaxseed
1 tsp of brewers yeast (I don’t like the taste, so I omit, but if you need an extra boost for milk supply, throw it in!)
2 Scoops Ora Organic Protein powder
1 1/2 cups of Almond Milk or milk of choice. Edit milk amount depending on your blender and the size of your pineapple chunks and strawberries.
Pile everything in your blender and blend! So simple and easy, and a GREAT way to give your body nutrients. Nutrients are so, so important to losing weight and keeping your supply up. I highly recommend my program if you are struggling with your supply, or to lose the baby weight and you are worried about your supply. I go over everything, give you meal plan and recipes, and the great thing is that I will be adding more as time goes on, so the price will be going up!
