I’ve been discussing protein powder for breastfeeding mamas for years now. I’ve gotten a chance to review many different protein powders over the years. However,  I always felt like breastfeeding mamas were missing out on what we need: a protein powder that increases milk supply, helps with sugar cravings, nourishes our bodies, and ultimately aids in weight loss.  Of course I have a 10% off code for you: LACTATION So, I set out to create, Milk Dust, the best protein powder for breastfeeding mamas. I’ve been advising new, breastfeeding mommies on weight loss while breastfeeding for years. I offer a full program, diet and app that new mommies can use to help them eat the right breastfeeding diet, heal their core and pelvic floor, and get to their pre-baby weight again. In those years, the same struggles were repeated to me by many mamas. Struggles such as the sugar cravings,…

I am partnering with 1915TM Organic to share this sponsored post. As a busy mama, I know how difficult it can be to get a workout in. I am just now able to grab some more time for workouts as my little ones are getting older. When they were all 4 and under, it was almost impossible unless I strapped them all in the stroller and just ran as far as they would let me. As a Pre/Post Natal Fitness Specialist, I have learned some super quick and effective moves that will get your heart rate up and help you burn some fat, even if all you can spare is 15 minutes. Most of us can grab 15 minutes here or there, and I don’t feel as guilty about letting my children watch their favorite show for 15 minutes. Sometimes, staying healthy as a mama means taking advantage of fast…

Breastfeeding has been a part of my life for years now. I’ve researched everything on keeping milk supply high, full of fat and nutrient dense. I am still breastfeeding my toddler, which is a new experience because I didn’t breastfeed my other two boys into toddler hood.  Improving the quality of your breast milk is just as important as your supply, which is sometimes overlooked because new mothers are more concerned about the amount they are pumping or feeding. I found this resource to be super helpful and informative on breastfeeding in general, if you are feeling overwhelmed. I was even surprised at the amount of information I still didn’t know, even after breastfeeding three babies. Understanding The Fat Content In Breast Milk: You can increase the fat content in your human breast milk by eating healthy fats. I didn’t connect the dots between water-soluble vitamins and fat being available to baby from…

For some reason, I pursue gifts I can make during the holidays. A part of me just wants it to be full of meaning and time, and a part of me doesn’t want to spend much money. I am super frugal, so I tend to think of more creative, artistic options for gifts. That’s why I put together this list of gifts you can make, that don’t look like you made them. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve attempted to make something beautiful, and it totally looked like a fifth grader made it. These are gifts that are achievable and meaningful for Christmas. I researched around and found that The Happy Nester has a great post of information and answers…

I bought a shirt this time around, for my third baby, with a mermaid on it and text saying, “milky maids.” There’s a photo way back in my Instagram if you want to see it. Being milky, isn’t always fun, but it is so important to your baby. I’m still nursing my third baby boy now, and I am so thankful for the tools and tricks I’ve learned to keep my milk supply up. I’ve dealt with very difficult, stressful times, all while nursing a baby, and I never once let my milk supply suffer. If you are struggling with breastfeeding in general, I highly recommend this resource. It taught me a ton, which I didn’t even know, I didn’t know…if that makes sense! It will ease a lot of fears, and ensure you are set up in the right direction. Why does milk decrease? There are reasons your milk…
