My baby is almost 1 year now, and I am still changing his diaper a lot. With two older toddlers and a baby, it is essential to have everything you need right next to you. My sister is due in a few weeks with her third baby, so I popped over to help her craft her perfect changing station to ensure she’s ready to take on life as a mom of three. Creating the Perfect Changing Station First, your diaper choice is very, very important. We both use Huggies®. I recently signed up for a Sam’s Club Membership because they have a super special happening! The Savings Membership level…

I’ve been obsessed with strollers in my almost-five years of being a mom. I’ve had joggers, double joggers, umbrella strollers, standard double strollers and more. There’s some information you should know when you are a new mom thinking about which stroller you might want to invest in. I talked about how I forgot an umbrella stroller on my first registry. I’ll go over that here, as well as what each stroller-type is, and the kind I recommend. It’s important that you know all of this because I had no idea, and ended up buying and returning a few strollers. If you are planning on only having one child, this stroller is AMAZING! There is a reason it’s so popular and I loved it, but…

I have to admit I spend a lot more time in my pajamas and workout clothes than I’d like to admit. On the days I get a workout in, I usually don’t get out of my workout clothes until everyone is in bed, and I can finally shower and put pajamas on. There are times I do want to look like the fashionable person I once was, and I still lust over high wedges and heels that I can’t possibly wear as anymore as a mom. this post contains affiliate links But, I have found some fabulous items that are conducive to momlife and totally stylish! Here’s my list! Jeans/Pants: Sweaters and Jackets: Vests: Boots and Shoes: Hats: I know this is a man, but its such a cute hat! And, I’ve got more super cute items over at my Venndy story! It’s the time of year we all start craving warm soups, savory dishes and comfort food. The cold air, fall leaves and spices bring the strong feelings of family and eating. This can make it hard to keep up with your fitness goals and stay healthy, but thanks to all the amazing cooks out there, I’ve found some super yummy and cozy healthy crockpot recipes that will warm your soul. Happy October! Halloween is coming fast, and we had some Halloween fun already making these super simple cookies. I’ve seen lots of cookies that look so awesome on Pinterest, yet I just don’t have the time to create them myself, and I prefer to have less-than perfect creations that I can make with my kids, so here’s some super simple ideas for you. First, we all know I’m not Betty Crocker here, so I started with some Oreo-like cookies, but the off-brand was on sale, so naturally I chose those. I chose these because they are sturdy, making them easier for the kids to frost. If you have soft cookies, they will break when the kids try to frost them. I also used large, square Marshmallows because they have a good base for mummies and monster heads. I also have little kids, so we can’t get too elaborate here. My…

Feeding a baby in general creates an important bond of trust and love. One that I feel so blessed to have experienced now with three little ones. I am still breastfeeding my 10-month old baby, and I think it’s important not to leave Daddy out on all this special bonding time. For first-time parents, it can be difficult to allow daddy an opportunity to bond with the baby. I never had my husband do the middle-of-the-night feedings because he had to work. I just reasoned that only one of us should be in a zombie-like state, and we don’t need him functioning half awake while working, so these ideas are all great ways to have daddy bond with the baby, without having him…

It’s the glorious time of year when the infamous Pumpkin Spice Latte makes its return. Each year I long for the simple, sweet and spicy treat. It’s actually a very simple recipe, which I’ve made numerous times as an ex-barista. I actually love making coffee, and if I wasn’t a mom, I would probably still be a barista living off of tips because I love the job. Anyways, I have a heavenly pumpkin spice latte recipe that will seriously have your friends knocking at your door at 7 am. This post contains affiliate links.  I’ve also got a cute little coffee bar set up, which is easy to put together with items from the Target dollar spot, and great for hosting those cozy coffee mornings with friends. Why meet up at the local coffee shop and wait in line, when you can have your friends over for homemade treat at…

I am probably way behind on finally getting my kids to leave me alone, after almost 5 years of being a mother, but for some reason, I am just now figuring out some tricks to get my kids to leave me alone. Keeping up on cleaning, blogging, organizing, grocery shopping, paying bills…just life in general is IMPOSSIBLE when your kids won’t leave you alone to think. I still am struggling to get enough time alone, but I’ve now figured out a way to get them to give me some space for a decent enough time to clean the kitchen, check some emails or brush my teeth and put some makeup on. Nap time is a great time of course but as kids get older nap times shift and/or go away and you can’t always wait for nap time to take care of something. Just 30 Minutes In reality, it’s not…

I only accept sponsorship from products I know I love, and hope that you will too! #upliftingineveryway I wasn’t prepared for the tremendous sleep deprivation a newborn baby brings. There’s not really words to describe it. I remember it being worst with my first baby because I wasn’t used to it. I would try to sleep, then be jerked awake at the smallest sound of the baby making a noise. I also didn’t know how to get a baby on a sleeping schedule, without having him cry his lungs out, so it was a big mess of dark circles and zombie hair for the first few months. I was literally trying everything to get my new little bundle to sleep. A swing, crib, swaddling and bouncy chair. Nothing was working, and in pure desperation I…
