We grill outside frequently living in South Florida, and I often set up little bars or tables of snacks and hot dogs that the kids can reach, grab and assemble on their own! I prefer to have a kids table set up because it allows me to keep the kids entertained and fed without a lot of effort on my end. If I don’t have to get plates and drinks for all of the kids and monitor their eating, then I can socialize and enjoy the evening much more! One of my biggest mom tips is shopping at Sam’s Club! It’s a great place to stock up for your family. Since we entertain a lot in the summer, I like going at…

All opinions are mine alone. #FreschettaFresh #CollectiveBias Cheeseboards are all the rage for entertaining throughout the year, but they don’t work well for the warm summer months. Cheese go soft and lose their texture in the warm weather, so I have another simple entertaining idea for you – A Pizza Board! These are so simple and fun, yet they offer an awesome way to entertain for the summer. I’m going to go over my essentials for a good pizza board, which includes a frozen pizza because that is so simple! From there, I doctor up the board with snacks, dips, veggies and fruit to allow for lots of different sampling and munching. As a mom of three boys, entertaining has to be simple, easy and yummy. Freschetta is an awesome problem solver when it comes to fresh, yummy…

#ad This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of The J.M. Smucker Company. The opinions and text are all mine. Peanut butter and jelly is an all-time favorite here. As in, almost-daily staple because my kids love it, and I actually love feeding it to them. Fat and protein in the peanut butter is amazing for growing brains. It keeps them satiated, helps build muscle and brain power, and the little bit of sugar from the jam gives them immediate energy! It also tastes amazing, and there are no negotiations when it comes to eating. Sometimes I get bored making peanut butter and jelly, so to spice things up for back to school and make things just a little bit better, I came up with 5 ways to improve the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, plus I have a recipe for peanut butter and jelly bars!! They…

Make-ahead breakfast solutions that are healthy and yummy are so important! I had a few mornings of cooking up eggs, slicing up fruit, and dishing out toast to realize that adding cooking to the hectic school mornings was not a good idea. I would leave the kids to “eat,” so I could brush my teeth or find shoes, and come back to them playing and not eating. I learned quickly that breakfast needs to be handled the night before, not the morning of. I also know how important protein is to sustaining my kid’s energy throughout the school day. My oldest especially, burns through energy fast, and protein and fat will sustain their little brains to keep learning much longer. Make-ahead breakfast sandwiches are my go-to! Here is the variety I make, which all work well for my kids and husband! I do a combination of fried eggs with cheese,…

All opinions are mine alone. #LoveMyEggo #MoreEggo2Love #CollectiveBias I LOVE a laid back morning, where we stay in our pajamas too long and eat breakfast too late. Waffles are a big hit in our family, and my boys are a in love with the Kellogg’s® Eggo Thick & Fluffy Original. You can do anything with this flavor, add all the toppings, or keep it simple with just syrup. I don’t always have the energy on these long, quiet mornings to whip up a batch of home made waffles, so the Eggo Thick & Fluffy Waffles are a great solution for me. They are the perfect option for a simple, quick breakfast for your family, a nutritious breakfast for the health conscious, or an indulgent savory meal or complex dessert. It’s no secret we visit the beach weekly, and sometimes it is easier to pack a bagel breakfast sandwich and eat it there, rather than spending a lot of time cooking, eating and cleaning breakfast in the morning. We would rather hurry and get to the beach to enjoy our breakfast there. So, I created a yummy little breakfast sandwich that we can wrap up and take in our picnic basket. These are super simple too, with things you will have on hand. Nothing too fancy. Just yummy and filling for long days of sand castles and swimming. David loves this sandwich, and my husband ate two this morning. If he approves, you know they are good. Here is what you need to make TWO of the sandwiches. Make extra 🙂 2 bagels pre-sliced (keep it easy) 2 eggs 2 TBSP butter Two slices of Mozzarella cheese (any cheese works…
