Waffles are a big hit in our family, and my boys are a in love with the Kellogg’s® Eggo Thick & Fluffy Original. You can do anything with this flavor, add all the toppings, or keep it simple with just syrup. I don’t always have the energy on these long, quiet mornings to whip up a batch of home made waffles, so the Eggo Thick & Fluffy Waffles are a great solution for me. They are the perfect option for a simple, quick breakfast for your family, a nutritious breakfast for the health conscious, or an indulgent savory meal or complex dessert. You can sign up for Ibotta to get cashback too, which…
It’s no secret we visit the beach weekly, and sometimes it is easier to pack a bagel breakfast sandwich and eat it there, rather than spending a lot of time cooking, eating and cleaning breakfast in the morning. We would rather hurry and get to the beach to enjoy our breakfast there. So, I created a yummy little breakfast sandwich that we can wrap up and take in our picnic basket. These are super simple too, with things you will have on hand. Nothing too fancy. Just yummy and filling for long days of sand castles and swimming. David loves this sandwich, and my husband ate two this morning. If he approves, you know they are good. Here is what you need to make TWO of the sandwiches. Make extra 🙂 2 bagels pre-sliced (keep it easy) 2 eggs 2 TBSP butter Two slices of Mozzarella cheese (any cheese works…

There is a critical time period between 1 and 3 years, when your baby’s brain is growing and developing. They are soaking in all the feels and emotions with their parents and primary caregivers, developing language skills, learning important lessons and so much more. The brain is undergoing massive transformation and development, and there are ways you can nourish and encourage this important growth period. Here are 5 ways you can help cultivate and nourish your toddler’s brain development during this crucial time: First, Nutrition Is Key: I know for me, with an 18-month old, I am trying to…
It is the season for road trips, which can be a nightmare for families with small children, who can only sit for so long. BUT, I found some amazing hacks to make summer road trips smooth and painless…even fun for everyone, including the parents! First, we can’t deny the benefits of electronic entertainment, and if your car doesn’t have a DVD/ movie system, YOU CAN BUY THEM CHEAP!! They are on Amazon, and you just hook it up. So awesome. This one is only $130, the one pictured, and there are some options under $100 out there. A cereal box used as a garbage can. This is so wonderful because of all the trash that adds up with snacks. You can also grab one of these trash/water bottle holder containers on Amazon, which I like for more organized storage. Next, your kids can play on their own car seat tray,…
These are the beach hacks and tips that actually work for me and my kiddos, and we go to the beach weekly all year! I’m a beach-mom veteran now, and I’ve experienced all sorts of beach situations, leaving me to learn what I actually need, and what I don’t. One thing to remember is you can always vaccuum out the car. The end of the beach trip can be the most stressful because everyone is tired and sandy. Clean up the best you can, get everyone home and rested, then clean the car. It makes for a positive ending 🙂 Baby Powder to Remove Sand: This is a popular trick that actually works to help the sand come off! We’ve tested it, and I was happy with how well it brushed the sand off their hands, especially for eating a quick snack! Baby Pool: Babies are often scared of…
I want a clutter free home. I envy those mamas, who’ve conquered their clutter. I go on rampages where I pile things in the garbage and fill massive donation bags…then the clutter comes back….out of now where. What happens? I can’t stand clutter, but it always seems to rule my world with little ones pulling surprises out of the woodwork by the minute. Where it all comes from I have no idea. Some days I’d like to save my sanity and have a massive bonfire in the yard. A therapeutic session where I can just burn it all!! I’m afraid the neighbors will call someone out of shock, so I’ve opted to gather all the best tricks and secrets from the moms who handle it. The moms who boss that clutter and rarely let it tear its head in their home. Lets get into their secrets, so we can all…
Losing the baby weight is a difficult task, especially when you have multiple children. Even once the baby weight is gone, maintaining and staying fit with kids is also difficult. I have managed to lose the baby weight three times now, in addition to staying fit with three kids at home. I don’t have a gym membership, so there isn’t a time for me to workout with no interruptions. Unless I want to workout in the middle of the night after I get all my blogging-related/momlife things done. But that just doesn’t work for me. I also attempt to sleep more than 6 hours, so getting up before the kids doesn’t work well either. I’ve managed to get up and go for a run maybe three times in my life before the kids. It actually felt amazing, but it wasn’t realistic. So, how do I stay fit with three kids…
As a mom of three, I’ve found that tips, tricks and hacks are so helpful. I love the “aha. why didn’t I think of that?” moments when I see someone doing something I should’ve been doing all along. There are lots of hacks new mamas need to know, and I’ve put together a list of the super smart, super useful ones all in one place. I wish I was able to think of these myself, but I was just a normal tired mom, incapable of thinking about much other than when the baby was going to sleep. These people are rock stars in the parenting world because they’ve used what brainpower they have left to make life easier for the rest of us! If you are working on being as healthy as possible during pregnancy, I have an awesome, FREE clean-eating challenge for you! PS, if you just had your…
Living with a pool in the backyard, I’ve learned some very important water safety tips, because for us, it is summer all year round. We are in the pool 300 out of 365 days a year, so becoming an expert lifeguard and pool-safety marshal is my second (or 53rd) job. With summer almost here, I thought is super important to remind parents and help with some water safety tips to keep you sane, and enjoying yourself while your children are enjoying the water. Whether it is the ocean, lake, a pool or even a small kiddy pool filled up by the hose, these tips will help you keep everyone safe, and give you peace of mind. Keep Life Jackets or Floaties on Non-Swimmers: The first set of tips are for little ones, who can’t swim yet. When we moved to our home with the pool, none of my boys could…
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hefty®. Universally, I think mothers are accepted as strong individuals. The work of a mother never ends, whether working or stay-at- home, yet I wonder exactly how heavy is that work? How much weight do mother’s really carry day in and day out? I set out to see just how strong moms really are, based on research. Because strength is in essence, a power, and by looking at strength this way, I was able to find some astounding research to just how powerful moms really are. Many of us remember the very popular article on the Mental Load that makes us moms all so very tired…despite our sleep. The writer perfectly describes the crazy amount of thoughts we carry, “Often the most tiring aspect of this work is being the “Knower of All the Things.” So often the mom…
