Since having kids, money just flies out the window. Literally sometimes if my toddlers find cash in my purse. There’s always a need for more diapers, more wipes, bigger pants, new shoes and that amazing new toy they have to have. I am the frugal one in our household. I can’t stand spending money, and I like to see it grow as much as possible, but with the addition of now three kids, it’s been even harder. Here are my best frugal tips that will help you save money as new parents. First, get a subscription service via Amazon FREE 30 Day Trial. I have to admit, I am a terrible cleaner. I “don’t have the eye” as my sister mentioned to me before. That’s the truth really. To be a great cleaner, you have to have an eye for the details. I do not focus on details. I think in large pictures, images and my brain jumps around a bit. I get overwhelmed with small tasks, and my mind goes off into a place of creativity, where I’m not even seeing what I’m doing. As the women of the house, I’m in charge of cleaning, and my husband is a better cleaner than me. Shoot. So, I’ve learned to put my mind to work and clean better. I just don’t even notice things some other “cleaner” people do. On the other hand, I hate clutter and have a very minimal style. I can clean up clutter, and I like everything to be…

It starts as soon as we are pulled out of bed by hungry and hyper children. Managing the stress is such a process in itself. Many of the experts advise on taking time to yourself. But, in my opinion, committing to time to myself is stressful. I don’t need time to myself, I need time to get some things done. Getting things done is what relieves stress in my world. But really, there’s always things to be done, and learning to manage our stress is the best direction we can take. Here are some tips that help me manage the stress in my life, and believe me, I have a lot. First, take Fish Oil: This is the simplest step you can…

Baby bottoms are the cutest. Red baby bottoms are not cute, and ultimately I cringe at the sight of any baby rash signs because I can’t stand the thought of my little angel red and hurting. I’ve tried all the diaper rash creams in my years of being a mom of little ones. My third baby is still in diapers (please send any potty training tips for one-year-olds my way!), and I’ve spent the last 4 years of my life with a child in diapers, so I’ve also slathered on lots of cream. With my first baby, I thought I had the right cream ready to go for my new baby. As the first onset of diaper rash set in, as it usually does at some point, I slathered on my cream and waited. The redness got worse. What?! Of course I called my mom. She asked if I had…
