this post is sponsored. All opinions are mine! I recently introduced you all to DOSH, a new cash-back app that offers some fantastic cashback options that aren’t just online, but also for nearby restaurants, and my favorite, traveling! We actually have traveled quite a bit as a small family, and we would love to do more if we didn’t have three little wild boys to pack and keep track of. Well, I did some dreaming with my new app because this time of year, some families are looking to book a fun vacation. Well, DOSH boasts some fantastic cash-back opportunities ALL OVER THE WORLD! I was so excited, I took some screen shots of various locations we might want to pretend we are going this summer, or you might really be wanting to book! Let’s start with Barcelona, Spain. If you put in that location, and the dates you’d like…
Breastfeeding has a magical way of injecting some sort of sugar monster into our bodies. It is a beast that doesn’t sleep unless it’s had some sort of sweet treat every couple of hours. Well, at least that’s the beast inside of me. I have heard many other new mothers mention their sweet-tooth intensity while breastfeeding. It’s a common side effect we all deal with or give in too. But do we know exactly why this is happening? In order to combat the sweet desires that consume our minds and control our taste buds, we must understand why these type of food cravings are happening. Now, if you Google this problem, most articles are going to tell you a number of vague, over-generalized answers like its just because you’re a nursing mom and tired from lack of sleep. It is true that being tired causes you to crave all sorts…
I was introduced to Venndy by another blogger, which then transpired into loving the brand-spanking-new sharing platform, and thus writing this post to share with others out there! *this post is sponsored, and all opinions and experiences are my own! Let’s Go Over Venndy Quick: In my opinion, Venndy is specifically set up for bloggers, but it can also be used as a sharing platform for anyone savvy with social media. This is a place to continue telling your story. A sharing network, where you can promote and recommend those beloved items you can’t stop blogging about. Particularly useful for fashion, beauty and lifestyle bloggers, I’ve also been sharing a lot of my lose-the-baby-weight posts in their Fitness section. My summer closet favorites are also linked up too. Where Venndy offers a uniqueness is in the contextual sharing, which will allow your products/stories to be in front of a more…
So here’s the reality of losing the baby weight. Once you do, you also lose your booty! Unless your keeping up with your workouts, which we all know is super difficult with kids, you most likely are starting to see a pancake butt, rather than what you used to have. You know, its just not quite as lifted. But, we can work to fix it! Here are the top 5 exercises I’ve found to really help build your booty back up like it was before those little rascals came along. I have been using this app to stay fit for a while now, and I highly recommend it because there are lots of lower-body and booty workouts that will really help you. You just listen to the jams and trainer, and go for it. I go into more details on my two favorite postpartum workout apps in this post. Let’s…
I have to admit, I’ve downloaded and tried a few different apps, Ibotta was one in particular to attempt to get cashback from my shopping. I never once actually took a picture of my receipts. Life is too hectic right now. Then, I was invited to be a part of the DOSH program, a new cashback app that is simple to use, with great rewards! Think of money back to you, auto-magically…as DOSH puts it 🙂 Let me tell you about why the DOSH app is magic. The reason DOSH is magic is because its extremely simple, and you get money back for shopping with no strings attached. The app also rewards you for linking your debit card ($5), then it gives you another $1 per additional card you link in the app. You also can link your Paypal account as well. What’s the catch? The app monitors your purchasing habits…
I’m embarking on the home school journey.  At first, I had a sense of urgency mixed with fear that I wouldn’t know what to teach my preschooler, and thus he’d be left behind, not learning what he should. I did some digging in Facebook groups, and I found some other moms to connect with who also home school, and depending on your state, mine was Washington, I had a difficult time finding a state-supplied curriculum. Like, I contacted and emailed school-district officials, who then sent me to sites I’d already visited with very vague resources on curriculum. I don’t know what state you are in, or the state rules, but the purpose of preschool is to prep for Kindergarten. There are a lot of Kindergarten tools out there, which you can use and back-track from. I’m actually planning on getting the A Beka K5 Homeschool set because it was referred to…
I started drinking coffee years ago in college, when my roommate introduced me to lattes. She was obsessed with them, so every Sunday morning before church, we would walk to the coffee shop to get our lattes. The weekly love-affair grew to a daily need as life got busy, I had various jobs as a barista, and I basically stopped sleeping as a mom. We all know the importance of our daily cup, but with that also comes some unwanted stains on our teeth. When Smile Brilliant approached me to try their teeth whitening kit, I was super excited. My first thought was, “I want to get rid of these coffee stains!” Then I checked out their site, specifically this page that goes over everything you need to know before buying. They sent me the kit, and the process starts with making your own molds, like at the dentist. My…
Mother’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. I am a sun-lover, so as Mother’s Day approaches, I’m usually dying to get outside and enjoy some nice weather. I put together a Mother’s Day gift guide that features some items I love, that are perfect for this summer! First, I have a Bootay Bag. This could be used all year, but in the summer you are wearing breezy, fun dresses, where some nice undies are more essential. After all, their hashtag, #undermatters is so true! The reason I love this is because it’s affordable, only $12 a month! I can do that, and who likes to shop for undies with kids? For me, going underwear shopping with three munchkins isn’t the most appealing. They sent me a pair for March to try, and I loved it! The undies are super cute, comfortable, and a surprise in the bag! Then, you…
Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and of course, we are all looking for the perfect items to get those mamas, who are brand new. Well, this gift guide features items I love, that I recommend buying for any new mamas this spring. Some of these are brands that sent me items to review and use, while others are just ones that I love, and would recommend as a gift for new moms. Mother’s Day Gift Guide For First-Time Moms: Binxy Baby: I can’t believe I am just now getting one of these. I lugged that car seat around with my first baby everywhere. What was I thinking? This is by far, one of the best inventions. I keep it in the pocket behind the driver’s seat of my van, that way I always have it ready. It clasps onto the sides of the cart very simply, and it…
Can I tell you how much I love baby items because they are so soft and cute? The problem for me is that I never want to put my baby in the beautiful items because I’m afraid of blowouts and spit ups. I was super excited when Lorena Canals Rugs offered to send me a complimentary rug to review, and add to our home. I had never heard of these rugs before, but when I took a look at their site, to see if it was a product myself and you, as my readers would be interested in, here’s what I found: These rugs are ALL MACHINE-WASHABLE…this is so awesome because I have two toddler boys and one baby. Enough said there. I also saw that these rugs were picked by Vogue as a top baby product for celebrity nurseries. We all want to be a little celebrity-like don’t we?…
